01. What are the hardware and software requirements for using VersaSuite?
We would recommend that VersaSuite is run on Pentium 4 class machines or equivalent, with processor speeds of 2GHz or above and 512MB of RAM. There should be at least 1GB of spare hard disk space available on each machine. We recommend Microsoft Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 2 or above) as an operating system. Please be aware that VersaSuite requires the use of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or later in order to store data.
02. I am considering VersaSuite as the solution for my hospital, can VersaSuite cover multiple disciplines?
Yes. VersaSuite's flexibility is one of the key features that separates it from its competitors. If you can provide us with your data capture requirements, we are able to create a bespoke solution, tailored to your environment. Contact our sales team for further information.
03. What technology is used in VersaSuite?
VersaSuite is written in C++, and can be run on a Microsoft SQL server or Oracle database. As mentioned above, VersaSuite is designed to run on Windows XP Professional.
04. I would like to upgrade to VersaSuite, but how can I retrieve my data from my existing systems?
Call us. We are almost certain to be able to retrieve information contained in your existing systems, and populate VersaSuite with it.
05. I have a multi-site establishment, can VersaSuite scale across multiple physical locations?
Yes. VersaSuite is used in many organisations where data is shared between physical locations. VersaSuite will use your existing network connections in order to pass data between sites. This can be through various means including virtual private network (VPN), terminal services or PC anywhere.
